1 How much do Magic Man repairs cost ?

At Magic Man we keep our pricing structure simple.

For our commercial clients, we offer a day rate of £340 (8.30am to 4.30pm) for 7½ hours of on-site work. We do not charge travelling time.
Alternatively, if you have four or less repairs, it is more economical to order just these repairs at the following individual rates:£120 for the first repair, and £55 for subsequent items
Special rates may be available on request.

Our prices for individual domestic work are individually costed up according to the extent of the work required.

NB: Our 100% satisfaction guarantee ensures that if we cannot do the work, you will not be charged.

2 What areas of the country does Magic Man cover ?

Magic Man have an extensive and expanding team of technicians around the country; all of our personnel are directly employed by Magic Man and are not sub-contractors or franchisees. Call us for your local operative.

3 Can you repair scratches to glass window panes, or do you just repair frames ?

At Magic Man we pride ourselves in the standard of both our services and working procedures. Whilst Magic Man can repair any type of damage to window frames both internal & external we do not repair glass. However we operate closely with trusted and like minded companies to provide those services that we either do not supply or are complimentary to our own. Please call for recommendations.

4 Do you replace antique baths as well as restoring them ?

We can generally source period pieces and fittings, and either provide - or advise on - all areas of antique restoration and replacement.

5 If the damage to ironwork is too extensive to repair, can you re-cast iron ?

Damaged feet on cast iron baths - provided that there is a complete example of the damaged foot - can be recast from a mould.

6 What warranties do Magic Man offer ?

Our bath resurfacing service carries a three-year warranty. Other resurfaced items will generally carry a one-year warranty, as will all other repairs .

7 How long do Magic Man take to conduct repairs ?

Repair times can vary according to the type of substrate and the extent of the damage. Generally, a typical repair can be effected within one hour.

8 When do you repair damage in situ, and when do you have to take the damaged item into your workshop ?

We can conduct most of our processes on site as well as in our workshops. There are clearly ancillary costs attached when an item has to be removed, transported to the workshop, and then reinstalled - so wherever possible, we conduct repairs on site.
